As an operative setting up temporary traffic management at TMO Highways you will be given full training in how we want things done ‘the TMO way’. We dedicate time and training no matter what level you are of what tickets you may hold.

For those starting as trainees we promise to development you at a pace which suits you, whilst ensuring you are safe and competent on your path to gain your qualifications. We run a full internal sign off programme to allow you to have one of our experienced auditors with you on the first steps of your journey before then signing you off via our audit scheme ensuring you’re ready to go it alone.

We offer bonus schemes for top performing staff. We run a staff elected health and safety subcommittee. We give you your birthday off each year and you can earn additional days holiday with every year of completed service with TMO (up to 5 years). Overtime is readily available and we provide you with a company vehicle to get to and from work, a company phone and tablet as well as full PPE and fuelcards.

For those seeking more of an office role our head office is located in Eye, Suffolk. We have a friendly and dedicated team ranging from Office Administrators, CAD Planners, Co-Ordinators right through to our Managers and Senior Management Team. Much like the road based staff we will invest time and effort into your training and personal development.

LANTRA Qualified Traffic Management Operatives required.
Full Driving Licence

Weekend TM Staff

Vacancy Reference : WEEKEND

Closing Date : 31/12/2026

We are looking for staff to work weekends as part of their normal week, such as Wed-Sun, or 3 days during the week and the 2 weekend days, alternatively we would also consider those who just want part-time employment at the weekend.

This unique opportunity allows for people whose family or personal situations means that they want or require time off during the week and as an inclusive employee we want to make this requirement a genuine opportunity.
