In the past 12 months, our fleet has covered an incredible 253,265 miles using electric vehicles instead of traditional combustion engines…. a significant step forward in reducing our environmental impact.
✅ £29,000+ saved in fuel vs charging costs
✅ Approximately 70 tonnes of CO₂e avoided
✅ 12 fully electric vehicles now part of our fleet
From the VW ID Buzz and ID.7 to the Ford Explorer, Tesla and MG4, we’ve embraced a diverse EV fleet that supports both operational performance and sustainability ambitions.
This transition isn’t just about cost savings — it’s about making informed, responsible choices that align with our wider commitment to reducing emissions, improving efficiency, and future-proofing our operations.
Using electric vehicles across the business has made a significant difference, as reflected in our performance data. Initially, there were understandable concerns about operating outside London and the TfL area, particularly around vehicle range. However, as our experience has grown, so has our confidence. We are now far more familiar with EV capabilities and have learned to trust them to support traffic management operations across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridge and Bedfordshire. To date, they have proven reliable and have not let us down.
A huge thank you to the team for embracing the change and helping make this a success and driving our ISO14001 accreditation forwards.
This is just the beginning ⚡
