Growth and Leadership

Celebrating Growth and Leadership at TMO Highways.

At TMO Highways, investing in our people is central to how we improve our business, strengthen our culture and deliver better outcomes for our customers. Over the past year, Ben Green, our Performance & IMS Director, has embodied this through two standout achievements.

🔹 Driving Continuous Improvement
Ben has completed his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, building on his Yellow Belt foundation and advancing his expertise in process improvement, data analysis and the DMAIC methodology. These skills are already helping us enhance efficiency, reduce waste, strengthen compliance and deliver consistent, high‑quality service across our operations.

🔹 Championing Fairness, Inclusion and Respect
Ben has also earned Silver FIR Ambassador Status through the Supply Chain Sustainability School, recognising his leadership in embedding Fairness, Inclusion and Respect within TMO Highways and across the industry. This reflects the collective effort of our growing FIR Ambassador network and our commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and able to thrive.

These achievements highlight the culture we’re building: strong processes, empowered people and a shared commitment to continuous improvement and inclusion.

At TMO Highways, continuous improvement is a mindset that influences how we plan, deliver and review every project. Whether we are providing traffic management on a quiet lane in Norfolk, or London traffic management for major infrastructure works or supporting complex London event management schemes, we believe there is always an opportunity to learn, improve and raise standards.

This commitment is closely linked to our Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) programme, which has been embedded into our organisation to strengthen communication, teamwork and professional behaviours across all areas of the business. The FIR Plan emphasises that fairness, inclusion and respect are fundamental to safety, teamwork, wellbeing and customer confidence, while also encouraging colleagues to share ideas, challenge existing practices and contribute to ongoing improvement.
