As of Monday 15th April 2024 we have set a new record high in terms of staffing numbers within the business.
Our continued high performance levels has seen more contracts awarded to us based upon our reputation for high service levels coupled with our stringent safety based approach. We have seen demand to join the business at an all time high putting the business in a strong position to continue growing in 2024.
In recent weeks we have started a major surfacing project in Norfolk between now and August, we have had productive discussions in relation to expanding our coverage area within East Anglia for another one of our major suppliers as well as a further referral to one of their subcontractors. We are also pleased to announce that the latest phase of our in-house trainee scheme has kicked off with 4x trainees working hard alongside Dave Kingsbury to begin to learn the trade. Dave is an experienced trainer and we are blessed to have his skills as part of our Senior Management Team within TMO. These four trainees will undergo a 6-month scheme which will begin in the classroom and then gradually move on to controlled mock-ups before obtaining their streetworks ticket. From there the trainees will then begin to work towards their LANTRA M1/M2 qualifications as well as gaining experience on the road alongside their dedicated mentor.
We still have our £1000 joining fee for those who already hold LANTRA M1/M2 (and above) qualifications. This scheme has seen a number of staff join us and these staff have hit the ground running whilst learning the ‘TMO way’ through our internal sign-off and audit programme.
