Tmo staff member praised for quick thinking…
A TMO staff member today made use of the first aid kit all of our drivers carry and could have potentially saved a life.
Earlier today, a TMO staff member was on-site when they were approached by a young child in floods of tears, frantically explaining that their mum was not moving. Acting quickly, our operative followed the child and discovered that the woman had suffered a severe cut to her hand from a knife and had subsequently lost consciousness. Without hesitation, the operative called for an ambulance and used their first aid kit to dress the wound and stem the bleeding until paramedics arrived. Thankfully, the woman received prompt medical attention and is now recovering well.
This incident serves as a powerful reminder of why all TMO staff members are equipped with basic first aid kits—not just for their own safety, but because you never know when the opportunity may arise to help someone in need. A huge well done to the operative involved, who has chosen to remain anonymous. Your quick thinking and calm response made all the difference.
