We’re proud to confirm that TMO Highways holds RISQS accreditation, obtained in 2025, demonstrating our proven ability to safely and compliantly deliver traffic management works in and around the rail environment, including railways, level crossings and bridge assets.

This accreditation reflects years of practical experience, strong leadership and a mature management system capable of supporting complex, safety‑critical interfaces with rail infrastructure. Our teams understand the additional planning, controls and coordination required when working near live rail assets, and these standards are embedded into how we operate every day.

A cornerstone of maintaining RISQS is our ongoing commitment to upskilling and developing our people. We continually invest in training, competence management and internal auditing to ensure our workforce remains highly capable, confident and fully aligned with rail‑industry expectations.

This approach was strongly evidenced during our 2025 RISQS audit, where we achieved zero non‑conformities—a clear endorsement of both our systems and the way they are applied consistently on site. Since achieving accreditation, we’ve already seen a number of rail‑adjacent schemes successfully booked in and delivered, and we would welcome the opportunity to take on more.
