Throughout 2025, TMO Traffic Highways delivered an outstanding driving safety performance, reflecting the organisation’s continued commitment to protecting road users, employees, and the wider community.
Over the course of the year, drivers completed more than 105,000 operational trips, covering approximately 2.4 million miles and accounting for 68,829 driving hours. Despite this significant level of activity, driving standards remained consistently high, supported by robust safety management and proactive monitoring.
Performance data shows a 27 percent reduction in speeding incidents and a 13 percent reduction in harsh driving behaviours when compared with previous reporting periods. These improvements demonstrate the effectiveness of ongoing driver training, performance monitoring, and a strong safety culture embedded across the organisation.
In addition to behavioural improvements, TMO Traffic Highways undertook comprehensive driver visibility checks across all vehicle types within the fleet. Where required, additional safety aids were installed to reduce blind spots and enhance driver awareness, further lowering risk in complex traffic and roadside environments.
Taken together, these results underline an excellent driving record for 2025. They reflect a sustained focus on continuous improvement, investment in vehicle safety, and a clear commitment to ensuring that every journey is completed as safely and responsibly as possible.
TMO Highways is consistently pushing safety across Norfolk and Suffolk, Essex and Herts, Bedfordshire and The Midlands, Cambridge and Lincolnshire and London
