We are proud to announce that due to our excellent performance for UK Power Networks in Norfolk that we are now their primary supplier in Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire for both planned and emergency works.
TMO and UKPN have long had a great working relationship and this has been further strengthen by the high quality performance levels we have provided them during year one for the latest contract award. Our daily strive for the highest quality service has facilitated the ability for us to expand our coverage area for their electrical works.
Credit must go to the entire operations and planning teams who have excelled when it comes to hitting UK Power Networks 2 hour emergency response KPI as well as our punctuality for their planned works. Our highly skilled planning team are often the first port of call when it comes to emergency works. Our internal standards mean that any traffic management plan is doubled checked by a Lantra M7 qualified member of staff to ensure that our ‘right first time’ promise is met. Our commitment to efficient time keeping extends to our manual control requests, operative on site and planned works. We invest heavily in the last technology to accurately and honestly report our performance related data to our clients. This open and honest approach to our performance builds a strong sense of trust and allows us to take control of our own destiny within any contract framework. The entire team from office through to operatives understand the standards required to work at TMO Highways. The Directors are now working behind the scenes to secure a new depot in the area allowing us to bring our high quality of work to the streets of Cambridge, St Neots, Peterborough, Bedford, Ampthill, St Ives and beyond into the Midlands.
“This news is a culmination of years of hard work, not just over the past 12 months on this contract but over many many years building up TMO’s reputation as the gold standard for service. Credit is due right throughout the business, the wonderful admin staff, our dedicated team or surveyors, the auditors who work tirelessly to ensure all of our employees are the best ops they can be, the super talented planning department through to the co-ordinators who buy into our ethos and of course our team of hard working operatives who are out there day in day out providing our customers a safe and legal working environment. We look forwards to releasing more news about our new depot in the near future, as well as our plans to heavily invest in the latest environmentally friendly technology. For this help us reinforce our message that our bar is set high for a reason and just spurs me on even more to ensure we keep continually improving as a business across the board” Ben Green – Operations Director
