Last week saw the arrival of 10x new Ford Transit drop side tail lift flatbeds which we be distributed amongst our Traffic Management operatives across East Anglia and the East Midlands.
The latest batch of vehicles is yet another commitment to keeping our staff driving around in safe, compliant and smart looking works vehicles to ensure that we are keeping ahead of the competition.
As with all our new vehicles we have installed the tail lift gated system to reduce the likely of falls from the tail lift, as well as the Samsara cab & road facing dash cams. The Samsara system has played a massive role in reducing distracted driving and keeping not only our staff safer but also other road users. As a company we travel over 2 million miles a year whilst going about setting up the various traffic management, event management or pedestrian management systems across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, London, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.
It’s always exciting to see new vehicles turn up at the depots. We ensure that we use the data we have on driving performance to reward those who clearly care about how they drive and how the look after their vans. This latest investment is yet another sign that we are constantly moving forwards as well as looking at features and tech which can aid keeping our drivers and other road users safe.
