Another successful project delivered

TMO Highways has completed traffic management for a full resurfacing and lining scheme at Floods Ferry in Cambridgeshire

This package is part of a series of programmed schemes across the Cambridgeshire network covering 2026/2027 with TMO delivering all traffic management requirements.

Over a 10-week programme, our team delivered this package under a full road closure and diversion, with the site controlled by our TM operatives, who deployed an airlock gate system and managed site vehicle access. A project and setup that demanded careful planning, clear communication, and a real focus on the people affected by the works day to day.

Special thanks to the whole TMO Highways team who were involved, from the initial site meeting through to design, project management, and operational delivery.

A total of 14,430 m2 of tarmac was laid. With the following activities completed: resurfacing, lining, kerb realignment & grass cutting,

A key part of this scheme was the management of residents. Keeping the community informed, supported, and reassured throughout was a priority from start to finish, and the positive feedback we’ve received from residents is a real credit to the professionalism of all the delivery teams on the ground.

Projects like this reflect what we do best at TMO Highways: delivering high-quality project management and highways services safely, on time, with the local community at the heart of how we work.

Thank you to everyone involved in this collaborative delivery.
