TMO Drives Toward a Greener Future – One Electric Mile at a Time!

At TMO, we take our environmental responsibilities seriously. We’re proud to be doing everything we can to operate in the most sustainable and efficient way possible. Our ISO 14001 certification is a testament to that commitment – and it’s something we work hard to uphold every single day.

It’s no secret that a significant chunk of our carbon footprint comes from our vehicles – after all, delivering traffic management solutions across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, London, Cambridge, Bedfordshire, the Midlands, and beyond is no small feat! That’s why we’ve been investing in electric vehicles wherever and whenever it makes practical sense.

And now, we’re excited to share some results from our efforts so far!

From the start of May to the end of August, our fleet of electric vehicles covered an impressive 22,704 miles. If those miles had been clocked up in diesel vehicles, we’d have released just over 9 tonnes of CO₂ into the atmosphere. Instead, thanks to our growing EV fleet, that’s 9 tonnes saved – and a huge step in the right direction for a cleaner, greener future.

We currently have six electric vehicles in daily use, and as EV technology continues to evolve – with better range and smarter systems – we’re hoping to expand that number even further.
