Here's what we have been up to at TMO recently...
The results are in…
Yet another huge achievement for TMO Highways last week with the 2024 Achilles audit scores dropping into our inbox.
For the third time in four years our HSEQ team have achieved a full house of 100% across all areas on the Achilles audit. This level of consistency at such a high level is testament to our ongoing commitment to all things Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
Achilles audit week at TMO Highways
This weeks will see us welcome our annual auditors from Achilles as we look to once again score highly and maintain our recent run of good scores.
Over the past 3 years our HSEQ team have managed to score 100% in all aspects on two occasions, with the third year only seeing us losing marks due to a van not having a no smoking sticker in it. The hard work put in all year round allows us to go into these audits well prepared and to enable the auditor to efficiently work through our documented evidence with ease.
Two major contracts land with TMO
The past week has seen two new customers reach out to TMO to undertake traffic management for them on their high profile works.
A culmination of two years worth of chasing these clients has seen them agree to move over to TMO.
These new works will see us undertake major gas projects in Norfolk and Hertfordshire. This client has come over to us in these two areas, before hopefully expanding into the rest of East Anglia. These gas works require a high quality level of pre-planning to ensure their smooth running. The second of the new clients will see high profile burst water mains repair works come over to us in the Suffolk region.
ISO39001 Stage One Success!
31st July 2024 was a momentous day here at TMO Highways with the us hosting BSI for our Stage 1 assessment for our ISO39001 Road Traffic Safety.
Our Road Traffic Safety working party welcome John Appleby into the business to asses our status as we look to become fully accredited in a subject particularly close to our hearts, especially after recent events.
A culmination of 6 months work has got us to this point and we happily presented John with our Road Traffic Safety policy, our RTS Management System a set of 10 key objective we wish to hit over the next 3 years as well as some minor improvements that we have already launched within the business.
