Success in plastic recycling

This weekend saw our annual sort through of our broken bones to ensure they can be successfully recycled.

We have been collecting the cones, frames and bases for the past 12 months and come Monday (11th) these shall all be collected by Biffa and taken to be recycled.

New sign-in app at TMO offices

TMO Highways have invested in new technology to assist with visitors and contractors signing into our offices.

Following a helpful suggestion from our staff members about the sign-in process at our traffic management offices in Suffolk and Essex, we have looked into our processes and found that they could be streamlined and improved for when we have visitors and contractors coming in.

Temporary traffic light fleet increases at TMO Highways

Last week saw us increase our fleet of cutting edge Nissen traffic lights by a further 20, as phase one of our planned growth for 2024 took place. 

The demand for intelligent signals is on the increase within the marketplace and after speaking with our key clients it became clear that this trend would continue in 2024. The directors and owners have a plan in place to see us expand our traffic light fleet in regards to the Nissen signals to ensure we can stay ahead of demand.

TMO Welcome New Starters

This week saw four new starters within our ranks across East Anglia as our staff numbers continue to grow to allow us to stay ahead of our ever increasing workload. 

After a period of interviewing we are happy to welcome Mitchell, Levi, Nathan and Harvey to the 12D side of our operations. The successful candidates secured themselves a career with TMO after undergoing meetings with our Senior Operations Manager, Terry Simpson.

10x New Vans arrive at TMO Highways East Anglia

Last week saw the arrival of 10x new Ford Transit drop side tail lift flatbeds which we be distributed amongst our Traffic Management operatives across East Anglia and the East Midlands.

The latest batch of vehicles is yet another commitment to keeping our staff driving around in safe, compliant and smart looking works vehicles to ensure that we are keeping ahead of the competition.
