TMO Donates broken cones to Jimmys Farm 

In a creative and heart warming twist on recycling, TMO Highways has donated a batch of used traffic cones to Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park — not for roadworks, but for the polar bears!

 

As part of the company’s ongoing efforts to reduce waste and support local communities, TMO Highways offered up a collection of retired traffic cones that were no longer road-worthy but still perfectly safe for alternative use. Read More

TMO Traffic Highways Limited Powers Ahead with Solar Traffic Light Upgrades

Solar powered traffic lights hit the fleet!

TMO Traffic Highways Limited is proud to announce the successful upgrade of eight temporary traffic lights to solar power, marking a significant step in our commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency. This initiative is part of a larger rollout that will see a total of 80 traffic lights upgraded to solar power across our network.

 

The move to solar technology means these lights no longer require routine battery changes, drastically reducing the need for site visits. This not only saves our clients money on maintenance and logistics, but also significantly cuts down on vehicle mileage and associated CO₂e emissions. Read More
