A Huge achievement

Ashley Hall-Smith recently passed his Institute of Highways Engineers Temporary Traffic Management Engineer Diploma.

Ashley has been working hard over the past 12 months and learning a lot along the way.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate a fantastic achievement from one of our own. A huge congratulations to Ashley Hall Smith who has successfully passed his Institute of Highways Engineers Temporary Traffic Management Engineer Diploma.

This year long programme required real dedication from Ash who completed an intensive six-day course in Birmingham followed by thirteen written assignments of three thousand words each. The learning covered highways legislation, highways fundamentals, traffic data collection and analysis, temporary traffic systems, vehicle restraint systems, road marking, supporting technology and sign face design principles.

Congratulations to Darren Bailey on his promotion to Senior Surveyor here at TMO Highways.

Darren will now head up our Surveying and Auditing teams following his years of excellent loyal service.

Darren has long been the benchmark for our standards here at TMO, over the years Darren has become a source of help and knowledge for our field based staff before then moving into a more customer facing role by undertaking surveys and site meetings.
